Historic Colorado Building Being Demolished
Crews have started tearing down the historic White Hall building in Grand Junction, Colo., after it was severely damaged by fire a few years ago.
The hall was built in 1922, but in 2011, a fire destroyed most of it.
According to KJCT-TV, the building is so old, the city is worried about spreading asbestos while tearing it down.
Home to the first Presbyterian Church of Grand Junction, the original church structure was lost in a fire in 1890. A new church was built in 1900.
The building has since been used for offices, classes, and community functions.
