Thunderstorm Causes Roof Collapse for Arizona Manufacturing Facility
Sturm Ruger & Co. Inc. says a severe thunderstorm caused part of the roof at a manufacturing facility in Prescott, Ariz., to collapse.
The firearms maker said Friday that no one was injured.
Sturm Ruger said it is making repairs and expects the plant to be back in production soon. The company said the temporary disruption may have an impact on its third quarter results, but is not anticipated to have a material impact on the company’s finances.
Shares of the company based in Southport, Conn., fell 11 cents to close at $49.33 Friday and were unchanged in after-hours trading following the announcement.
