Nautilus Insurance Group Enters Personal Umbrella Market
Nautilus Insurance Group announced that it will open a new office in California to begin writing personal umbrella and related coverages nationwide.
Ann Boman-Clark has been named vice president, underwriting – personal umbrella. She has more than 35 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry. In addition, Douglas Weisskopf has been named assistant vice president, underwriting – personal umbrella. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry. Both come to Nautilus with many years of experience in the personal umbrella line of business. The appointments are effective immediately.
Nautilus anticipates making personal umbrella and related coverages available to agents in phases in the next 30-60 days on a non-admitted basis. By early 2014, the products are expected to be offered on an admitted basis.
