Northern Arizona Brush Fire Fully Contained at 509 Acres
A brush fire that scorched more than 500 acres north of Flagstaff, Ariz., is fully contained.
Coconino National Forest officials said Tuesday that some smoke remains from the fire near Kendrick Mountain.
The fire had forced a partial closure of the highway between the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff.
The cause of it remains under investigation but forest officials say it was human-caused.
