Nevada Judge Described Injuries Resulting From Car Hitting Her
A Nevada judge who was struck by a vehicle outside the downtown Las Vegas courthouse almost a month ago says she won’t return to work until concussion symptoms subside and she gets medical clearance.
Clark County District Court Judge Linda Bell said in a statement obtained Wednesday that her injuries proved more extensive than when she was treated at a hospital and released the day of the Nov. 7 crash.
Bell says she has a broken leg, along with spine, head and other body injuries.
Authorities say Bell was in a crosswalk between a parking lot and the Clark County Regional Justice Center when she was struck by a vehicle driving the wrong way on Clark Avenue, a one-way street.
Bell’s account was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
