Glause Named Wyoming Insurance Commissioner
Gov. Matt Mead announced Friday he has named a Cheyenne man Wyoming’s next insurance commissioner.
The state insurance commissioner helps regulate the insurance marketplace in Wyoming.
Paul Thomas “Tom” Glause currently is vice chairman of the Wyoming Board of Equalization and a member of the Cheyenne Frontier Days board of directors. He holds bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Wyoming.
Previously he was a prosecutor in Weston County and municipal judge in Rock Springs.
Glause replaces Tom Persig, who recently stepped down to become president and chief executive officer of Cheyenne Frontier Days.
