Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. Takes Home 3 Insurance Marketing & Communications Awards Including 2 Best in Show
San Diego, CA, 07/06/2011 – Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc.was thrilled to have received three awards from the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) at the Annual Meeting and Showcase Awards event on June 28. The IMCA competition has been recognizing outstanding marketing and communications work in the insurance industry for over 53 years with more than 120 companies throughout the U.S., Canada and Bermuda.
In its first time submitting to the IMCA Annual Showcase Awards, Arrowhead won a total of three awards for three separate campaigns, including an Awards of Excellence and two Best in Show. “We couldn’t have been more excited with the outcome knowing how much work went into all the projects,” said Ryan O’Connor, Arrowhead’s chief marketing officer. “Bringing home three awards really showcases the dedication and talent we have in our creative team. The collaboration within creative and marketing helps identify the target market and produces the results we are looking for at Arrowhead. These awards validate that goal.”
Arrowhead’s communications director, Christina Eagle, accepted the awards at the event. “Yes I danced when I got on stage but who wouldn’t,” Eagle said. “I was so proud of my team. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with from our creative department to our executive managers who trust us and allow us so much freedom to take chances with our ideas and designs.”
The in-house creative team consists of senior graphic designer, Ryan Berg, marketing and creative coordinator, Katie Sullivan and senior web developer, Chris Stead.
“We really embrace the challenge of making insurance fun and exciting for Arrowhead producers. It forces us to push the envelope and entertain some ludicrous ideas for our campaigns,” said Sullivan. “You really have to stand out visually if you want to capture people’s attention and connect with them.”
“The team collaborates so well together and we often expand on one another’s ideas. This fusion makes our job so rewarding,” said Berg.
