Atlantic Specialty Lines Hires 32-year Insurance Industry Veteran, Suzy Popplewell-Baird
Houston, TX, October 16, 2014– Atlantic Specialty Lines (ASL), a wholesale broker and specialty lines MGA offering a variety of property, casualty, auto, professional, and personal lines coverages, is announcing a major addition to their Houston office. Looking to solidify their position in the Texas market ASL will be bringing on Suzy Popplewell-Baird to manage the territory.
Suzy, a 32-year veteran of the insurance industry, will not only bring years of experience, most recently as a MGA Underwriter, but she knows the region and the issues it faces on a daily basis. She started her career working for the AIG Energy office in Houston and eventually made her way to Alaska where she served on the Alaskan Independent Agents & Brokers Board of Directors for 5 years. Suzy was awarded the AAMGA Achievement Award from the AIIAB for two consecutive years. Her areas of expertise include Package, Liquor Liability, Garage, Transportation, Environmental, Oil and Gas and Excess/Umbrella Coverage.
