Ebers Named V.P. at W. R. Berkley

Greenwich, Conn.-based W. R. Berkley Corp. has appointed Kevin H. Ebers as senior vice president for information technology.

Ebers, 50, will oversee information technology systems and operations throughout the company. He began his career with W. R. Berkley more than 28 years ago and brings financial, accounting and information technology experience to his new role.

Since 2005, he has served as the company’s vice president for financial risk management. Previously, he was vice president for information systems of Continental Western Group and, prior to that, was chief financial officer of Union Insurance Co.
