Officials Say Delaware Hotel Fire was Arson
Fire officials say a three-alarm blaze that destroyed a hotel under construction in April was arson.
Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal B. Scott Bullock said Tuesday that the April 13 fire at the Hampton Inn Motel was intentionally set.
Firefighters from 24 departments battled the blaze for four hours before bringing it under control. The fire caused $1 million in damage, which was more than half finished.
