IBC Presents AIM 2003 – ‘Emerging Trends’

“Emerging Trends” is the theme of the sixth annual Automotive Insurers and Manufacturers Forum (AIM), a one-day conference sponsored by Insurance Bureau of Canada. AIM brings together players in the insurance and automotive worlds in order to share valuable information and ideas on issues of common concern.

AIM 2003 will be held Wednesday, May 14, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Constitution Hall, Room 105, North Building.

Featuring a wide variety of speakers and topics, AIM 2003 aims to spark far-reaching discussions that could lead to improvements in the prevention of insurance crime, vehicle and road safety and emerging insurance trends.

AIM 2003 highlights will include:
·Emerging trends in managing risk;
·Consumer perception and industry image;
·Vehicle safety – an overview of issues and future directions;
·Trends in vehicle technology;
·Developments and future trends in insurance crime.

The conference will begin at 8 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. Opening remarks will be delivered by Terri MacLean, IBC’s executive vice president of Information and Investigations, at 8:30 a.m. The Keynote Address will be delivered by Jim Miller, senior vice president of Corporate Affairs for Honda Canada Inc. at 8:45 a.m.

AIM 2003 is geared to senior executives such as CEOs, VPs and other senior managers working in the automobile, insurance (underwriting and claims), manufacturing (marketing, product planning and technical compliance) and collision repair industries.
