Ohio Crash Sends 2 Children, 11 Adults to Hospital
The State Highway Patrol says two children were flown to the hospital and at least 11 adults were checked by medical staff after a van full of people struck a sport utility vehicle in eastern Ohio.
Trooper Scott Buxton says the SUV had turned left in front of the van on Tuesday afternoon in Cambridge, about 70 miles east of Columbus.
Buxton says a woman and three children were in the SUV. Two children were flown to Columbus, and it wasn’t immediately clear if the third child was hurt.
Buxton says the van was transporting 10 adults with physical and mental disabilities. The driver and all of the passengers were taken to hospitals as a precaution. A few had minor injuries.
There was no immediate word on any charges.
