Storm Knocks Out Power, Postpones Games in Ohio
Homeowners are busy cleaning up after storms swept through the Dayton, Ohio, area.
Hundreds of people were left without out power following the storms that began Friday night and continued into early Saturday. Dayton Power and Light says crews should restore power to most customers by Saturday afternoon.
Lightning forced dozens of high school football games to be postponed in western Ohio.
In the Dayton suburb of Kettering, firefighters and police were called to a neighborhood where winds downed trees, limbs and power lines. The Dayton Daily News reports there also was a gas leak in the area.
One resident says she could hear trees being ripped up out of the ground and saw one fall on her vehicle.
