QCSI, McKesson Extend Partnership on Application and Auditing Solutions

Quality Care Solutions Inc., a provider of advanced information technology and enterprise application software and services for health insurers and benefits administrators, has extended its partnership with McKesson Corp. to continue to deliver advanced claims management solutions to healthcare payors.

The companies have worked together since 2000, leveraging product synergies between QCSI’s QNXT enterprise application system and McKesson’s ClaimCheck claims auditing software.

McKesson recently announced the availability of its ClaimCheck 8.5 auditing application, which offers Customer CCI auditing, enhanced end-user control of modifier auditing and additional processing options. The McKesson Wizard works in conjunction with QNXT in real time to document clinical rationale for payment decisions. The resulting interface is dynamic and flexible, supporting full ClaimCheck functionality. The seamless integration supports online and batch processing, reducing pends and manual interventions.
