York Acquires Great Western Administrators
New Jersey-based York Risk Services Group Inc. has acquired the assets and assumed the contracts of California-based Great Western Administrators Inc.
York provides claims-handling, specialized loss adjusting and other risk management services. Great Western, which provides claim service for four self- insured group in California, will become part of of York’s Alternative Risk Solutions (ARS) division.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed. York has extended employment offers to Great Western’s employees and said it expects that they and the previous owners of Great Western will play an active role in the transition of services.
