Healthcare Solutions Appoints Joe Boures President
Healthcare Solutions, the parent company of Cypress Care, ScripNet and Procura Management, announced the promotion of Joe Boures to the position of president and chief operating officer. In this expanded role, Boures will have responsibility for all operational, financial and customer-facing activities for the company.
“During his tenure as chief operations officer of Healthcare Solutions, Joe has driven the company’s overall commitment toward operational excellence, intensified the company’s focus on customer satisfaction, and through his leadership, he has contributed to the company’s continued growth,” said David A. George, CEO of Healthcare Solutions. “Healthcare Solutions and its customers have benefitted from Joe’s strong leadership, industry credibility, and commitment to reducing overall medical costs for our customers.”
Boures is a 20 year veteran of the workers’ compensation industry and has extensive experience in executive management positions. Prior to joining Healthcare Solutions, Boures served as president for Specialty Risk Services, Inc. (SRS), a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group, which was acquired by Sedgwick Claims Management Services. As president, he oversaw all facets of the SRS operations, including business development, account management and field operations.
Prior to this appointment, Boures served in deputy controller and strategic business development positions for The Hartford. Before joining the Hartford, Joe served as vice president and controller with GAB Robins North America and as assistant vice president of management and corporate reporting at Continental Insurance Company.
