121 Shots Fired Calls for Little Rock Police on New Year’s
Little Rock, Ark., police say officers responded to more than 120 calls of shots fired on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Police have long asked revelers to not fire guns in the air as they ring in the new year. But Little Rock police say they still responded to 69 calls of shots fired on Tuesday and 52 calls of shots fired on Wednesday.
Little Rock police say they also responded to eight calls of fireworks violations on New Year’s Eve.
Three arrests were also made for driving while intoxicated, but no alcohol-related vehicle crashes were reported.
