House Fire in Tennessee Ruled Arson
Authorities investigating a Crossville, Tenn. house fire that killed two people said the fire was caused by arson.
Officials won’t discuss the cause of the fire or who they think started the blaze inside Darrell and Carol Darling’s home March 11.
Investigators say several letters about personal allegations involving the couple have surfaced, but they have not been able to determine who sent them.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported receiving a letter they believe was written by Darrell Darling. The copies were unsigned and had been prepared on a computer.
No positive identity has been made on the two victims inside Darling’s home. However, family members have not heard from the couple, whose cars were parked outside the home.
