Jackson County, Miss., sheriff’s deputies have arrested 31-year-old Christopher Edward Richards, of Vancleave, and charged him with one count of grand larceny in connection with the theft of more than 1,000 pounds of steel.
Deputies tell The Mississippi Press the steel, taken from a home in Latimer on three separate occasions, was valued at $1,940.
Richards made an initial court appearance in Jackson County Court, and Judge Larry Wilson set bail at $1,000.
