Firefighters Contain Damage to 2 Boats at Tennessee Marina
Two boats have burned at a state park marina on the Tennessee River, but firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to others.
WRCB-TV in Chattanooga reported the flames were spotted about 6 a.m. Tuesday at Harrison Bay State Park. Firefighters released the moorings of the flaming craft, pushing them away from the dock, and extinguished the fire.
A 40-foot Silverton Cruiser and a 1991 Bayliner Cruiser were destroyed and there was fire damage to a dock.
No injuries were reported.
