3 Arrested in More Than 20 North Carolina County Break-ins
Three people are in custody after investigators in Moore County say they committed nearly 30 break-ins.
Area media outlets report 39-year-old Steven Earl Taylor of Aberdeen, N.C., is being held on bond of $5,020,000 for failing to register as a sex offender and two felony probation violations. The Moore County Sheriff’s Office said he is also wanted in South Carolina for first-degree burglary.
The Southern Pines Police Department said 26-year-old Heather Christine Deaton Lamonds is held on $500,000 bond. Both she and Taylor are charged with 29 counts of breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen property and conspiracy,
Police also arrested 23-year-old Mychael Adam Scott Gilli of Carthage for two felony probation violations. His bail was set at $100,000.
It’s not known if any of the three has attorneys.
