Huge Fire Rips through South Los Angeles Commercial Site
Firefighters battled a huge blaze that engulfed a commercial facility in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman d’Lisa Davies said the fire erupted about 2:15 p.m. on April 28.
About 80 firefighters were on the scene, shooting streams of water into the block-size site which includes numerous single-story structures and stacks of pallets.
Adjacent wooden power poles and one car on an adjacent street were also burning.
