Jones Retires From Wells Fargo Insurance; Wood to Lead West Operations
Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Inc. announces that Samuel L Jones, executive vice president of the west region and CEO of ABD Insurance and Financial Services (ABD), will retire from Wells Fargo effective with the merger of ABD into Wells Fargo Insurance Services on January 1, 2009.
H. David Wood, currently head of Wells Fargo Insurance Services’ west region, will expand his responsibilities and lead the combined Wells Fargo Insurance Services and ABD operations in the west.
Wood has been the regional managing director of Wells Fargo Insurance Services’ west region since he joined the company in 2005. With Brian Hetherington, managing director of property & casualty insurance services, and Robert Volkel, managing director of employee, executive benefits and retirement plan service, Wood will now lead the combined Wells Fargo Insurance Services’ operations in the west.
