3 Injured After Car Crashes into Arizona Salon
Authorities say a Scottsdale, Ariz., salon employee is seriously injured after a driver accelerated from a parking lot and crashed into the business.
The Tuscany Salon employee was pinned between the wall of the salon and the car after the driver accelerated her sedan and ran into the salon on Pinnacle Peak Road about 2:15 p.m. Friday.
Police say the salon employee was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center with serious injuries.
Two other people were transported with less serious injuries. It wasn’t immediately clear whether they were salon employees or customers.
The Arizona Republic says there were about 30 employees and customers in the building at the time of the crash and it’s still unknown why the woman accelerated into the building.
