Man Falls 25 Feet Down Vegas Casino Elevator Shaft
An airman from Nellis Air Force Base has been critically injured after falling down an elevator shaft at the Luxor hotel-casino in Las Vegas.
Police and base officials tell the Las Vegas Sun two airmen got into a fight about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the first-floor lobby of the Luxor’s west tower.
Authorities say one man was pushed against an elevator door that came open, and the man dropped about 25 feet to the basement level.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A spokesman with Luxor parent company MGM Resorts International says the company is cooperating with police investigators.
